City Studio is grateful for the support of many institutions and individuals. This year, City Studio is made possible in part by grants from the Institute of Museum and Library Services. Previous funders include the Walter & Elise Haas Fund, the Mary A. Crocker Trust and the Mental Insight Foundation, the National Endowment for the Arts, the Phoebe Snow Foundation, The James Irvine Foundation, the Surdna Foundation, the Kimball Foundation, KADIST, Joseph Domingo and many more. We thank you for your support of vital programming for Bay Area underserved youth!
And City Studio thanks its community partners past and present, particularly the talented and dedicated Art Directors at the Boys and Girls Clubs that we are currently collaborating with or have collaborated with in the past: Kay Weber; William Mayfield, Mark Heija, Megan Stewart, Chelsea Stoklas, Sydney Dow, and Dara, Dominic, Jena, Maria and all the great folks at SOMARTS and of course Patricia Zamora! We are excited to announce a new partnership with the David Ireland House!  Thanks especially to Lian Ladia, Cait Molloy (SFAI MFA), Laura Pacchini (SFAI MFA), Steven Loscutoff and Alex Ehmer (SFAI BFA).

Big shout out to Justin Hoover and Chris Treggiari of Collective Action Studio and all the people at Project Artivism for a fantastic public art project last fall.  Read here for more info from our friends at Hoodline!

Next Steps…
We are building upon our successful public art class  ARTIVATE: public art now: and are excited to begin fall programming with new collaborator the David Ireland House this March–see the class page for more details.
And we will be adding additional episodes this spring to our Remote Life Drawing Workshop!  Big thanks to Christopher Paddock for all of his hard work and expertise!
Stay tuned for updates about our upcoming mural project with Telegraph Hill Neighborhood Center!
